Erst im Juli hatte sich\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Sekgapane<\/span> bereits beim Belvedere-Gesangswettbewerb gegen 1312 weltweit gecastete S\u00e4nger durchsetzen k\u00f6nnen. An der Semperoper ist er ab November in <em>Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/em> als Zweiter Priester zu erleben.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Der Tenor Levy Sekgapane wurde in Kroonstad in S\u00fcdafrika geboren. Er studierte am South African College of Music an der Universit\u00e4t von Kapstadt bei Kamal Khan und Hanna van Niekerk und spezialisierte sich dort auf das Fach Oper. Seit diesem Sommer 2015 ist er Stipendiat der Samro Overseas Foundation.
