Gastdirigent des Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, De Sabata-Gastdirigent des Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, 1. Dirigent des Orquestra de Cadaqu\u00e9s und k\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter des Stresa Festivals. Er war Leiter der BBC Philharmonic von 2002 bis 2011. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Davor wurde er 1997 als erster Nicht-Russe zum 1.
