Der Z\u00fcrcher Musiker gilt als einer der herausragenden Kontrabassisten Europas.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Der mit 15&#8217;000 Franken dotierte Jazzpreis 2016 wird Heiri K\u00e4nzig im Rahmen eines besonderen Matin\u00e9e-Konzertes am Sonntag, 4. Dezember 2016 um 11 Uhr im Moods Z\u00fcrich verliehen. Heiri K\u00e4nzig wird zusammen mit Chico Freeman und Thierry Lang auftreten, zuerst je im Duo, danach im Trio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Heiri K\u00e4nzig wurde 1957 geboren und wuchs in Z\u00fcrich und Weiningen auf. In Graz, Wien und Z\u00fcrich studierte er Musik. Seit 1990 lebt er in Meilen und ist seit 2002 Professor f\u00fcr Kontrabass an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Luzern.
