Mit von der Partie ist die israelisch-schweizerische Formation Profeti della Quinta.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Er\u00f6ffnet wird das Festival traditionellerweise von den Gastgeber und k\u00fcnstlerischen Leitern, dem Leipziger Vokalensemble Amarcord. In diesem Jahr singt das Quintett geistliche Werke aus einer Zeitspanne von mehr als sechs Jahrhunderten, die zur Versenkung und Einkehr einladen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">In den darauffolgenden Tagen stehen zehn weitere Konzerte auf dem Programm, in denen Vocal Jazz und Renaissance-Polyphonie ebenso erklingen wie nordeurop\u00e4ischer Folk und A-cappella-Comedy. Zu erleben sind unter anderem die Ensembles The Idea of North (Australien), A Filetta (Korsika), Profeti della Quinta (Israel\/Schweiz), F\u00fcenf (Deutschland) und Club For Five (Finnland). Das Ensemble\u00a0Profeti della Quinta wurde von Elam Rotem in israel gegr\u00fcndet und ist heute in Basel ans\u00e4ssig, wo es mit der Schola Cantorum verbunden ist<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Zudem wird der 10. Internationale A Cappella Wettbewerb Leipzig ausgetragen.
