Die Konzertexamens-Studentin aus der Klasse von Siegfried Gohritz an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Franz Liszt Weimar konnte sich in einem internationalen Feld von 400 Bewerbern durchsetzen.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Catriona Morison, geboren in Edinburgh, studierte zun\u00e4chst in Berlin und Glasgow, setzte dann ihr Studium in Weimar fort. Sie war Mitglied des Salzburg Young Artists Project und wurde 2015 Mitglied des Th\u00fcringer Opernstudios und in der Spielzeit 2016\/17 Ensemblemitglied des Opernhauses Wuppertal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Die Jury unter dem Patronat von Kiri Te Kanawa bestand aus David Pountney (Vorsitz), Grace Bumbry, Su Mi Jo, Wolfgang Holzmair, Anu Tali, John Gilhooly und Ailish Tynan.
